Miles Teller confirms Han Solo audition in

PanARMENIAN.Net - Miles Teller has indeed auditioned for the coveted role of young Han Solo in one of the upcoming "Star Wars" spin-offs. "The Fantastic Four" actor spilled the beans during a recent interview on Josh Horowitz's podcast, AceShowbiz reveals.

"I had never even seen any of the original Star Wars movies until maybe a month or a couple weeks before my first audition because I was like, 'I should check this out'," he laughed. "It holds up. I just love Harrison Ford, I think that's a great character."

"I love his brand, I mean so many guys would've played that part so wrong and he has humor at the right times. Harrison Ford is a very big actor, when you see the facial expressions and the things he does he goes big, but he's just always the coolest guy in the room and he's got all of those great qualities."

The origin story of the famous smuggler in the galaxy far far away will be chronicled in the untitled stand-alone Star Wars film II due May 25, 2018. No official words are released regarding the possible male lead but Teller's name wasn't mentioned in the latest casting rumors.

Instead, the list included Taron Egerton ("Kingsman: The Secret Service"), Jack Reynor ("Transformers: Age of Extinction"), Alden Ehrenreich ("Hail Caesar"), Blake Jenner ("Everybody Wants Some") and Jack O'Connell ("Unbroken").
