Armenia achieved considerable progress in military building

PanARMENIAN.Net - The U.S. is ready to assist Armenia in the process of the armed forces' reformation, U.S. Charge d'Affairs Anthony Godfrey said in Yerevan during a seminar titled "Military reform in Armenia: provision of Defense Ministry with civil personnel and introduction of amendments in the law On Defense". According to him, Armenia has achieved considerable progress in military building. "For our part we have to contribute to democratization and bringing the Armenian army up to international standards. The activities of the George C. Marshall Center prove efficient military cooperation between Armenia and the U.S.," the diplomat said.
