Azerbaijan uses firearms in truce violations overnight

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani forces violated the truce on the night of March 29-30, firing over 1000 shots from various caliber firearms, the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army says.

The Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army continues controlling the situation on the contact line and protecting their positions.

On March 26, at around 7:30am, the rival used TR-107 rocket launchers to shell the Karabakh village of Taghavard, situated some 5 km deep behind the frontline. As a result, a civilian, 27-year-old Yervand Firyan was wounded while engaged in agricultural activities.

Karabakh troops took retaliatory measures, making the rival refrain from using large-caliber artillery weapons during the whole weekend.
