AZERBAIJAN AGAINST UNITED ENERGY SYSTEM OF SOUTH CAUCASUS

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan is against creation of a united energy system of the South Caucasus. As minister of fuel and energy of Azerbaijan Nazim Bayramov stated at the regional conference on energetic cooperation in Tbilisi, creation of a united energy system with participation of Armenia does not seem possible to Baku. "No profit can make us sit at the same table with Armenians," - he said. Meanwhile, as reported by "Mediamax" agency, Georgian minister of energy David Mirtskhulava considers creation of a united energy system of the South Caucasus to be advantageous not only in economic respect, but also from the point of view of settling political conflicts. "It is important at this stage for Armenia and Azerbaijan to understand that the question has ripened and requires solution," - the Georgian minister emphasized.
