Boston's Armenian Park to host yearly Reconfiguration of Abstract SculptureApril 1, 2016 - 12:38 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On Sunday, April 3, the fifth annual Reconfiguration of the Abstract Sculpture will be held at the Armenian Heritage Park in Boston, Massachusetts. A crane will lift and pull apart the two halves of the Abstract Sculpture, a split dodecahedron made of steel and aluminum, and reshape the two halves into a new and different configuration. The annual configuration of the Abstract Sculpture is symbolic of all who were pulled away from their country of origin and came to the U.S. shores, establishing themselves in new and different ways. A&A Industries oversees the annual reconfiguration which takes a few hours depending on the configuration. The Charles G. and Doreen Bilezikian Fund, an endowed fund of Armenian Heritage Park, supports the annual reconfiguration. Top stories Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
