10 Karabakh soldiers admitted to Military Hospital in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - A total of 10 soldiers wounded in the course if military actions in Nagorno Karabakh are currently receiving medical treatment at the Central Military Hospital in Yerevan. Three of them are placed in the intensive care unit, their condition assessed as critical, but stable, A1+ cited the chief of the hospital as saying.

According to Aram Asaturyan, neither of the servicemen is in a coma.

"Both contract soldiers and those in compulsory military service have been admitted to the hospital," Asaturyan said.

"They have different injuries, with some of them connected to a ventilator."

The soldiers' names are currently unavailable.

On the night of April 1-2, Azerbaijani armed forces initiated overt offensive operations in the southern, southeastern and northeastern directions of the line of contact with Nagorno Karabakh, using artillery, armored fighting vehicles and air force equipment among other weapons.

As many as 18 Karabakh servicemen were killed and 35 were wounded in the course of military operations.

As of April 3, the Azerbaijani side has lost 14 tanks and over 5 armored vehicles, including an IFV, as well as 2 military helicopters and 2 unmanned aerial vehicles.

One Karabakh tank has been destroyed so far.
