No serious grounds for moving EEU summit to Moscow: Armenian PM![]() April 7, 2016 - 15:29 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - There are no serious grounds for moving the EEU summit from Yerevan to Moscow, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said Wednesday, April 6, according to Novosti Armenia. In a phone conversation with his Kazakh counterpart Karim Massimov, Abrahamyan said that if all the other heads of governments decided to hold the meeting in Moscow, he would further inform on his participation. Several days ago, Russian media outlets reported that the summit, slated for April 8, was cancelled on the Kazakh side’s initiative. Later, it turned out that the meeting was delayed to April 13. ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington. The CSTO budget for the current year requires adjustments due to the refusal of Yerevan to pay their share of contributions. Six total incidents have burned 19 old-growth trees.
