Turkey hosts conference on Armenian Genocide

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Turkish platform “Say No to Racism and Nationalism” (DurDe) organized a summit on the Armenian Genocide in Istanbul.

The summit, in particular, addressed the Armenians’ struggle for Genocide recognition following prominent journalist Hrant Dink’s murder.

The Armenian Genocide denial and the Turkish official documents were in the limelight of the second part of the conference, with activists and university professors delivering speeches.

The final session, titled “The struggle for the Armenian Genocide recognition in Turkey,” focused more on Dink and his legacy, as well as Agos newspaper’s efforts to shed light on the hidden Armenians of Turkey.
