Bundestag may recognize Armenian Genocide in June: party leader

PanARMENIAN.Net - The German Bundestag may in June adopt the resolution on the Armenian Genocide recognition, co-chairman of the German Alliance '90/The Greens party said in a Facebook post.

“April 24 is a Day of Remembrance of the victims of the Genocide of Armenians, Assyrians, Arameans, Chaldeans and other Christian minorities in the Ottoman Empire,” Cem Ozdemir said.

“There are indications that the Bundestag will on June 2 adopt a joint resolution on the Genocide and Germany’s responsibility.”
