Extensive investigative measures are underway in the framework of the criminal case opened following the explosion of a passenger bus in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan, Tert.am reports.
In the interests of the investigation, however, the details are not disclosed, the Investigative Committee said as it answered a question about whether there are detainees or suspects at the moment.
2 people were killed and 8 more were injured on Monday, April 25, at around 9:50pm, as a blast hit a bus on Yerevan, Armenia's Halabyan street.
According to a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent, an item inside a Bogdan bus exploded.
The driver of the vehicle survived the blast, suggesting the blast originated in the middle of the bus.
Armenia's Chief of Police, Vladimir Gasparyan neither confirmed, nor refuted a possible terror attack.
