Karabakh refutes use of banned ammunition![]() April 27, 2016 - 16:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan’s claim suggesting that the Nagorno Karabakh Defense Army used ammunition banned under international convention is nonsense, a spokesperson for Karabakh’s Ministry of Defense said, according to Tert.am. “Azerbaijan usually employs ammunition and arms banned under international convention and then attempts to turn everything upside down,” Senor Hasratyan said. In an article published earlier on Wednesday, April 27, Russian ewspaper Kommersant said that the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry accused Armenia of using military supplies prohibited under international law. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
