Azerbaijan shells Karabakh positions, settlements with tanks, Grad systems

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani armed forces fired over 240 shells towards Karabakh positions on the night of April 27-28, using tanks, various caliber mortars, cannons, TR-107 rocket launchers, as well as an MM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher.

Especially intense artillery shelling was registered in the eastern, northern and northeastern directions of the contact line. The village of Mataghis in Karabakh fell under Grad shelling.

To suppress the rival's attacks, the Nagorno Karabakh frontline units took measures in line with the development of the operative situation.

As of April 28 morning, the situation on the line of contact is relatively calm.
