EU Envoy for South Caucasus to visit Nagorno Karabakh

PanARMENIAN.Net - EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus will pay a visit to Nagorno Karabakh. According to Peter Semneby, the trip to Karabakh aims at establishment of trust between the communities of the region for a peaceful resolution of the conflict. He also remarked that terms of the visit have not been exacted yet. "Azerbaijanis and Armenians have lived as neighbors historically and have not contacted for recent decade and half only," the diplomat said. In his opinion, "establishment of ties between the communities will convey an impulse to the conflict settlement." "Settlement is impossible without it," Mr Semneby said, reports Novosti Azerbaijan.
