Russia: OCSE Minsk Group meeting on Karabakh settlement “in the works”

PanARMENIAN.Net - An OSCE Minsk Group meeting on the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is currently in the works, a spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry said Friday, May 6.

"A decision on the venue and the exact date of the meeting has not been made yet," Maria Zakharova said, according to RIA.

“Very active work is underway to have the meeting probably in the next few weeks,” Zakharova said.

Commenting on Russia's stance, the spokeswoman said "the fate of Nagorno Karabakh should be settled through negotiations."

"The issue is high on the Foreign Ministry's agenda," Zakharova added, according to TASS.
