Fear has big eyes: Armenia on Azeri claims of chemical weapons’ use

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan commented on Azerbaijani allegations, suggesting that the Armenian side has employed chemical weapon against Azerbaijan.

“[I have] a few words about white phosphorus: Azerbaijan is in deep confusion,” he said. “But we are quite accustomed to such a behavior. As the proverb goes, fear has big eyes.”

Earlier, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry declared its intention to show the attaches of foreign missions the unexploded white phosphorus munitions allegedly found in an Azeri village near the Karabakh line of contact.
