Proportional list of ARF Dashnaktsutyun to be publish in one of these daysFebruary 28, 2007 - 18:44 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Central Electoral Commission (CEC) received "National Unity's" list of candidates, who will ballot on proportional system in the parliamentary elections. The list contains 72 names at the head of party leader Artashes Geghamyan. Members of "National Revival" party (leader-Albert Bazeyan) most probably will ballot in the list of Armenian People's Party. "Earlier too we used to say that individual participation in election of parties, which are not able to overcome the 5-percent barrier, is inexpedient, since votes of electorate of these parties will be dispersed and ascribed in favor of those political parties, which will occupy leading positions in the result of elections," he thinks. 30 % of places has been given to women in Armenian Democratic Party's proportional list. Leader of party Aram Sargsyan said that totally the list will include not more than 50 names. He also noted his party is not going to participate in elections on majority system. Representative of ARF Dashnaktsutyun Bureau, vice-Speaker of RA NA Vahan Hovanessyan said that ARFD has finished preparations works of its proportional list, which will be published in one of these days. The list includes also names of non-partisan political figures and businessmen. Vahan Hovanessyan also stated that he is not going to ballot on majority system. The Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) and Joined Labor Party (JLP) will clarify their lists of candidates for the coming parliamentary elections during one of these two days.
