France to further support Karabakh peaceful settlement: MPsMay 26, 2016 - 10:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Wednesday, May 25 met with the chairman of France-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group René Rouquet and deputy chairman François Rochebloine. At the meeting, the parties hailed the bilateral relations, the Foreign Ministry press office reports. Nalbandian further stressed the importance of the MPs' visit to Nagorno Karabakh to learn more about Azerbaijan's aggression and the Karabakh authorities' efforts to overcome the consequences. Nalbandian briefed the French parliamentarians on the May 16 Vienna-hosted meeting between the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the agreements reached. The MPs, in turn, assured that France will continue supporting the exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflict.
