 Rio-2016 souvenir sheet cancelled at World Stamp Show NY-2016 May 31, 2016 - 16:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On the sidelines of the World Stamp Show NY-2016 on Monday, May 30, the stamped souvenir sheet Sport: 31st Summer Olympic Games Rio-2016 was canceled and put into circulation, HayPost CJSC said in a press release. The souvenir sheet depicts a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro. The stamp itself shows the famous Copacabana beach in Rio de Janeiro, also depicting some of the sports which Armenia will present during the Olympics. The official cancellation ceremony was carried out by Armenia’s permanent representative to the United Nations Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and the Managing Director of HayPost Trust Management Juan Pablo Gechidjian. HayPost CJSC is participating in the biggest international philatelic exhibition – World Stamp Show - NY 2016. World Stamp Show -NY 2016 is a major once-a-decade eight day international philatelic exhibition set to take place from May 28 through June 4 in New York City, U.S. More than 120 philatelic associations and organizations and over 50 national postal operators from all over the world will take part in the event.
