“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” new pics show Ron and HermioneJune 2, 2016 - 12:56 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - More character portraits from the two-part West End play "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" have arrived online, AceShowbiz reports. They give the first look at Paul Thornley as Ron Wesley, Noma Dumezweni as Hermione Granger and Cherrelle Skeete as their daughter Rose Granger-Weasley. "It's 19 years later when the play begins," Thornley says. "Ron is married to Hermione Granger and they're now the Granger-Weasleys. Our magnificent daughter Rose Granger-Weasley is about to start at Hogwarts, which is obviously a big day for everyone." Skeete wears new Hogwarts robe in the photos. "Rose is ambitious, obviously her mum is Hermione so she's got a lot to live up to. I think they're quite similar in the fact they put a lot of pressure on themselves. And she just wants to do the right thing," she explains. Dumezweni, while not directly addressing the criticisms over her casting as Hermione, exclaims, "I am so proud that I am in it." She says, "Every time I'm in the auditorium I turn around to people or say to myself, 'I'm in that show, I'm in that show.' " "The Cursed Child" is scheduled to open July 30 at the Palace Theatre, London. Jamie Parker is tapped as an adult Harry Potter, Poppy Miller as his wife Ginny Potter and Sam Clemmett as their youngest son Albus Severus Potter.
