As the Foreign Ministry reports, details of the Co-chairs’ proposals on the establishment of investigation mechanisms for ceasefire violations and enhancement of the capacities of the team of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office were discussed. Minister Nalbandian and the Co-chairs stressed the importance of observing the agreements reached at the May 16 Vinenna summit on commitment to the peaceful settlement and strict adherence to the ceasefire agreements of 1994-1995. Also, the parties called for steps aimed at more effective monitoring in the conflict zone and establishment of mechanism for investigation, which will create necessary conditions for resumption of the negotiation process.
