Top Armenian, Russian military officials talk cooperation, security

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan on Tuesday, June 14 met with his Russian counterpart Anatoly Antonov in Moscow.

At the meeting, the parties discussed issues of security and stability in South Caucasus, as well as military cooperation between the two countries.

Yerevan and Moscow on June 26, 2015 signed an agreement on the provision of a $200 million loan to Armenia for the purchase of Russian military equipment and weapons. The parliament ratified the deal a week later.
