Meat Loaf collapses on stage during Canada concert

PanARMENIAN.Net - Meat Loaf collapsed on stage during a concert in Canada, Gigwise said.

The singer was partway through his biggest hit, ‘I Would Do Anything For Love’ in Edmonton, Alberta on the 16 June evening when he collapsed to the ground.

In video footage of the incident, he appears to attempt to carry on singing for a few seconds while on the ground, before he stops and the band rush to attend to him.

According to WTVR.com, the venue was cleared as emergency services arrived on the scene, and took him to a local hospital.

Meat Loaf had cancelled a show in Calgary earlier in the week due to “illness”, so it seems likely that this is related.
