Turkish politician detained over Dink murder

PanARMENIAN.Net - March 25 Turkish police detained a politician to interrogate him on the murder of ethnic Armenian journalist Hrant Dink, reports Associated Press quoting NTV Turkish TV Channel. Leader of Great Unity nationalistic conservative party Yashar Jihan was arrested in Trabzon several hours after Mesrob Mutafyan, the head of the Armenian Diaspora in Turkey, Constantinople Patriarch of the AAC, had accused the local authorities of incapability to find the real inciters.



The prosecutors brought accusations against 10 suspects and are after another influential member of Great Unity, Halis Egemen.
