ONLY OSCE MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS CAN INITIATE PROPOSALS ON NAGORNO KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - The proposals on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement can only be received from the OSCE Minsk group co-chairs. Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian stated it today when being asked by journalists to comment on the statement of head of the Russian account chamber Sergey Stepashin that Azerbaijan proposed a third version conflict settlement based on mutual compromises. In Oskanian's words, today only one proposal of the co-chairs is on the negotiation table and is the subject of talks between the Armenian and Azeri Presidents. No other proposals were received by Armenia, the Armenian foreign ministry head stressed, adding, "In the course of personal meetings the Presidents may find a definite wording for the matter, which may pave way for peaceful settlement of the problem."
