The sci-fi adventure is launching five days after Disney opens “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” “The Space Between Us” is directed by Peter Chelsom from a script by Allan Loeb from a story by Stewart Schill, Richard Barton Lewis and Allan Loeb. The film also stars Britt Robertson, Gary Oldman, and Carla Gugino. The film, which was shot last fall in New Mexico, centers on the first human born on Mars traveling to Earth for the first time and embarking on an adventure with a street smart girl to discover how he came to be.
