Armenia President hopes CSTO will approve collective security strategy

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Monday, July 4 expressed hope that the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) will approve the security strategy for the period until 2025.

CSTO Secretary-General Nikolay Bordyuzha and members of the Foreign Ministers’ Council arrived in Yerevan on Monday to participate in a session in the framework of Armenia’s chairmanship of the Organization.

Citing the success of the sessions of Military Committee and the Security Council’s Secretaries Committee held in Yerevan, the President said he expected the Foreign Minister’s council session to prove successful too.

Bordyuzha, in turn, briefed the President on the issues to be dicussed at the meeting, as well as the upcoming projects and events set to be held in the framework of Armenia’s chairmanship.
