Azerbaijan replenishes armament

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azeri armed forces received modern MiG-29 fighters which were exhibited at an air base nearby Baku on March 29. It's known that the planes were purchased in Ukraine, however the exact number and modification is not announced. According to a source in the Azeri Defense Ministry, the planes excel western analogs and fighters possessed by the Armenian armed forces. Some specialists consider that the fighters belong to 9-13 modification with a new navigation system installed. They can also carry guided bombs and "air-earth" rockets with TV-pointing, Interfax reports.
