VivaCell-MTS covers disadvantaged students’ tuition fees for 7th year

PanARMENIAN.Net - VivaCell-MTS launched the tuition fee reimbursement assistance program seven years ago. The beneficiaries of the program are students from vulnerable social groups as well as those with special needs, on condition that they successfully complete the academic year.

Owing to the program, higher education has become available to around 750 students from socially vulnerable groups (students with special needs, those from low-income families or orphans). In the course of those seven years, VivaCell-MTS has allocated about AMD 705.9 million for the implementation of the program.

The program has proved to be highly effective in providing professional education as well as psychological and social support.

During a ceremony, the results of the program were summed up and certificates were handed out to the beneficiaries of the program.

“The desire to study and the inability to pay for education is one of the biggest injustices in life,” said VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian.

“The mission of the tuition fund program is to alleviate social injustice through professional education.”
