Putin: Russia to continue promoting compromise in Karabakh settlement

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russia will seek to ensure that Azerbaijan and Armenia find a compromise and a mutually acceptable solution to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Monday, August 8, according to Sputnik.

"I know this is a thorny issue for both Azerbaijan and Armenia. We will strive to achieve one thing, we will strive to ensure that Armenia and Azerbaijan find a compromise solution that is acceptable for both sides," Putin said at a meeting with his Azeri counterpart Ilham Aliyev.
