Sargsyan, Putin to talk political interaction, regional issues in MoscowAugust 10, 2016 - 13:52 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - President Serzgh Sargsyan is starting his working trip to Russia later today (August 10), Tert.am reports. The Armenian leader is set to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, in Moscow. The date and venue of the meeting was announced on August 3. According to presidential press service, the high-level talks will address the bilateral political, trade-economic and humanitarian dialogue between the two strategic allies and cover, among other things, key agenda issues, including the processes within the Eurasian Economic Union. Presidents Sargsyan and Putin were also reported to be planning to exchange views on global and regional developments. A key issue at the negotiations will be apparently the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. In his comments to Tert.am last week, political analyst Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan said he expects the talks to focus the on major concerns of Armenia’s political situation (given that the country is the initiator of the meeting).
