  Rio 2016: Three Armenians to join competition Aug 12 August 12, 2016 - 17:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Three Armenian participants will represent the country at the International Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, later today (August 12), Tert.am reports. Arakel Mirzoyan will join the weightlifting competitions for the 85kg weight class. In the female weightlifting matches, Sona Poghosyan will start competing for the 75kg weight class. Monika Vasilyan will take part in the 50m freestyle swimming competitions. The 20-year old female participant is listed on the qualifier’s fifth top eight ranking.
