Sasna Tsrer member Sedrak Nazaryan detainedAugust 13, 2016 - 13:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A district court in Yerevan has ruled to enforce detention against a member of Sasna Tsrer armed group which seized Yerevan police station on July 17, Tert.am reports. “The court issued a ruling to enforce detention. It was later announced that Sederak Nazaryan would be taken to the Hospital for Convicts,” Sedrak Nazaryan's lawyer told Tert.am on Saturday, August 13. Nazaryan is facing charges over taking hostages (Article 218.3 of Armenia’s Criminal Cide), occupying buildings, premises and communication means (Article 219.3) and illegally acquiring, realizing, storing or transporting arms, ammunition and explosives (Article 235.3). The activist had a surgery on July 31 after he was hospitalized with firearm injuries from the seized police compound.
