Boris Yeltsin was 76 years old. He occupied the presidential post of Russia from 1991 till October 31, 1999, when he resigned unexpectedly. Former President of the USSR Mikhail Gorbachov expressed his condolences to Boris Yeltsin's family and relatives in connection with his death. "I express my deepest condolences to the family of B.
