Monument to Armenian Genocide victims inaugurated in Meudon-la-Foret
April 21 a monument to the Armenian Genocide victims and Armenian soldiers who gave their lives for France was inaugurated in Meudon-la-Foret, France. Mayor Herve Marseille and RA Ambassador Edward Nalbandian, NA member Patrick Devedjian, Armenian organizations, clergymen and residents of neighbor towns were present at the event. "The inscription "1915. To the memory of the Genocide victims and Armenian soldiers who gave their lives for France" is not accidental. It's very symbolic, since the children of the Genocide survivors devoted their lives to France. We are here to pay a tribute to those killed during the Genocide and World War II and remember that they died in the name of human values," Edward Nalbandian said, RA MFA press office reports.
