No casualties registered in rocket attacks on Aleppo Armenian districts

PanARMENIAN.Net - Aleppo Armenian districts fell under heavy rocket attacks by armed militants on Wednesday, August 24, Arevelk reports.

Some of the rockets having landed near the Armenian Evangelical Church, Chairperson of the Council of Armenian Evangelical Churches of Syria, Rev. Harutyun Selimyan said no fatalities were registered.

According to Fr Harutyun, Wednesday was a rather tough day for the Armenian community of Aleppo.

“When the rocket attack happened near the church, a number of children were passing exams. They were lucky to survive,” he added.

Other parts of Aleppo were also under heavy fire in recent days, with 6 people killed and dozens more wounded as a result.
