Armenian army ready to resist any threat, Defense Minister says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan on Wednesday, August 31 said the Armenian forces are ready to resist any threat coming from any side, Tert.am reports.

Speaking about the situation on the border, Ohanyan noted it to be calm, with only a few instances of crossfire registered.

“Our neighbors violate the ceasefire, but we do not retaliate in case of sporadic shooting,” the minister said.

Asked if the current situation is a mere “calm before the storm,” Ohanyan said Armenia is always ready to retaliate.

“We are always on high alert and ready to resist any storm,” he said.
