  NKR Defense Minister may head RA Armed Forces General StaffApril 27, 2007 - 16:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian army has skilled generals who can head the RA Armed Forces General Staff, Armenian Defense Minister Mikael Harutyunyan told reporters in Yerevan. Designations are being discussed presently, according to him. "NKR Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan is also included in the list," he said.Mikael Harutyunyan was appointed RA Defense Minister on April 24. Before he was the Chief of the RA Armed Forces General Staff and First Deputy Defense Minister. Presently, First Deputy Enriko Apriamov is the Acting Chief of the RA Armed Forces General Staff   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
