Russia to suspend gas supply to Armenia due to repair work

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Georgian Gas Transportation Company announced Tuesday, September 6 the suspension of natural gas supply to Armenia on September 7-12.

Gas supply will be cut due to repair works on the main Kazakh-Saguramo 1020mm diameter pipeline.

Russia is the main supplier of natural gas to Armenia which transports the resource by transit through the territory of Georgia. The latter receives 10% of total shipments in transit fees.
