When touching upon the Armenia-Turkey relations Vartan Oskanian stressed the necessity of opening the border and repeal of article 301 of the Turkish Penal Code. He also said that no progress was fixed the Armenian-Turkish relations recently. For his part Mr. Rehn briefed on the process of Turkey's accession to the EU and the stance of the European Commission on the issue.![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit.
