Zvartnots airport passenger traffic soars 12,1% in August

PanARMENIAN.Net - Passenger traffic at Yerevan’s Zvartnots international airport has grown by 12,1% in August as compared to the same period last year, Armenia’s General Department of Civil Aviation said Tuesday, September 13.

According to the agency, the passenger traffic totaled 1 321 784 people in the first eight months of 2016, which is by 4.2% more against the same period in 2015.

Besides, 9,725 tons of cargo transportation has been carried out at Zvartnots in the reporting period, up by around 66% against the same period in 2015.
