CoE Sec. Gen. stressed necessity to continue Karabakh talks

PanARMENIAN.Net - Council of Europe Secretary General Terry Davis said in his press statement that the CoE wishes soonest resolution of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and voiced hope for "soonest return of refugees to homes they abandoned because of hostilities."



When touching upon the 2-day meeting with the Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers, Terry Davis stressed the necessity to continue talks.



For his part, Mr Fiorenzo Stolfi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of San Marino pointed out to the significance of discussions for resolution of the problem. He said the Council of Europe is concerned about the issue and closely watches the negotiation process.
