Zvartnots airport passenger traffic grows by 28.6% in SeptemberOctober 7, 2016 - 13:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The passenger traffic at Yerevan’s Zvartnots international airport has soared by 28.6% in September 2016 as compared to the same period last year. According to the General Department of Civil Aviation, 1,542,500 passengers have used the services of the airport in January-September 2016, registering a 7.1% year-on-year increase. In the reporting period, 11,477 tons of cargo has been transported in 2016, up by 76% against the same period in 2015. Passenger traffic at Zvartnots grew by 12,1% in August as compared to the same period last year. Besides, 9,725 tons of cargo transportation was carried out at Zvartnots in the reporting period, up by around 66% against the same period in 2015.
