“Power Rangers” movie first teaser trailer lands onlineOctober 8, 2016 - 17:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The first teaser trailer for the upcoming "Power Rangers" movie has landed online, AceShowbiz said. It gives a sneak peek at the superheroes, depicted as five highschoolers who are struggling to fit in. Red Ranger's transformation and the villainous Rita Repulsa are glimpsed as those outcasts gain super powers after coming across a mysterious alien structure. Giving off Chronicle vibes, the video was uploaded on the official Facebook page of the movie. Apparently the video reveal was a premature one. It was originally scheduled to be screened for the first time at the New York Comic-Con panel so it was quickly taken down from FB, but fans have already grabbed and spread it online. Directed by Dean Israelite ("Project Almanac"), the "Power Rangers" movie is due in the United States on March 24, 2017. The color-coded heroes are played by Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, Becky G, Ludi Lin and RJ Cyler. They are joined by Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa, Bryan Cranston as Zordon, and Bill Hader as the voice of Alpha 5.
