PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan on Thursday, October 20 started off the Cabinet session by raising problems of transport in Armenia's rural areas.

The premier assigned relevant agencies to examine transport problems in the outback of the country and submit proposals for their solution.

"The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies and that of Territorial Administration and Development are assigned to collaborate with provincial governors to consider the issue, going well beyond villages situated close to Yerevan," Karapetyan said.

"They are to submit a list of settlements where transport services aren't provided at all, offering reasons behind such a situation and solutions for the final settlement of the issue."
