In the reporting period, Azeri troops used various caliber firearms to fire some 450 shots towards the Armenian positions, also employing Istiglal sniper rifles north and east of the contact line. The Karabakh frontline troops continue controlling the situation on the contact line and protecting their positions. Azerbaijani troops initiated subversive attacks in the eastern and southern sections of the Nagorno Karabakh contact line on October 20, at around 11:00pm-11:30pm. Having timely identified the rival, Karabakh troops took preventive measures to throw the saboteurs back to their positions. No fatalities were registered on Karabakh's side. Besides the attempted subversion, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire 50 times overnight on October 20-21, firing 2800 shots from various caliber firearms.
