According to the project, RIA says, the two countries seek to establish a joint group of forces in the Caucasus. The bill says a Unified Command structure will be created to manage the force “to ensure the security of the sides in the Caucasus region.” The initiative's prerogatives include "repelling any armed attack on either party, as well as defending the state borders of Armenia and Russia." ![]() ![]() The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
