Ankara appreciates Greece's support for Turkey's full EU membership

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ankara expects U.S. and Iraqi officials to take firm steps on the PKK issue (Workers' Party of Kurdistan), said Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul speaking to Greek daily Kathimerini. "The Turkish government gives the highest priority to combating PKK terrorists. High-level U.S. officials, including the president, had expressed their intention to back Turkey's anti-terrorist efforts," the Turkish FM underscored. Alongside, A. Gul underlined Ankara welcomes Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyanni's statements supporting Turkey's full membership to the European Union, Turkiye daily reports.
