Parliament approves Armenia state budget for 2017![]() December 8, 2016 - 14:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The National Assembly on Thursday, December 8 voted 83-34 to approve Armenia's state budget for 2017, with only one abstention. Prior to the vote, several opposition MPs called for boycotting the government-proposed document and blocking it. Others reminded that government representatives didn't even bother to come to the discussions at the parliament. Lawmakers from Orinats Yerkir party said the budget provides for no progress in the field of education or health. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has met with Stephan Schütz, Executive Partner at Gerkan, Marg and Partners.
