Protection of de facto borders of NKR is key element for providing security

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Priorities for me are the physical security of NKR citizens and the right to sovereign state. And protection of de facto borders of NKR is the key element for providing security and for NKR citizens and vital functions of the republic and the right to establish independent state," presidential candidate of NKR Masis Mailyan stated to "Mitk" Analytical Center. He said, NKR cannot independently exist and provide his military and economic security within former enclave of NKAO, the borders of which were illegitimate from the very beginning. "It is necessary to carry out a systematic rehabilitation and resettlement on the whole liberated territories of Artsakh. Resettlement of liberated territories is a national, state and moral imperative for entire Artsakh and Armenian nation. The current speed and strategy of resettlement must be evaluated as ineffective," he underlined.



M. Mailyan also said that there exists the problem of territorial delimitation between NKR and Azerbaijan. "But it may become an actual subject only when Azerbaijan recognizes NKR. There cannot be any justifications for the vague situation that currently exists around the territorial problem," the presidential candidate thinks.
