High level of political relations between Iran and RA finds its reflection and in economic sphere

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yesterday Armenian President Robert Kocharian hosted Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, currently in Yerevan with a delegation to attend the 7th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on coordinating Armenian-Iranian ties, the RA Presidential Press Office reports. At the meeting M. Mottaki passed Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's greetings to Robert Kocharian.



Underlining readiness of both countries to develop cooperation in various fields, the sides stressed that the high level of political relations between Iran and RA finds its reflection and in economic sphere.



The Iranian FM briefly presented the work of the commission, the session of which was held today in the morning. At the same time he said during session the sides thoroughly discussed some important economic programs. M. Mottaki added, currently several key programs in energy and transportation spheres are at the center of discussions. Robert Kocharian and Manouchehr Mottaki underlined that figures of commodity circulation between the two countries have not yet reached a satisfactory level and there exists serious opportunities to increase its volume.
